Account Executive Position: Available

Achaean Technology Incorporated; is a New York based and internet technology professional services firm specializing in solving client business challenges through leading web technologies. Our Troy, New York office has immediate opportunities for successful and experienced Account Executives.

To qualify you should have a successful track record of rapid account growth and meeting or exceeding quota while selling information web technology based solutions to senior management. The ideal candidate should have had some kind of sales training, a strong affinity for web technologies, the ability to translate new technology into business value, and the ability to discuss (via phone) the business issues and opportunities of one or more business verticals.

Account Executives are primarily responsible for locating and obtaining new business opportunities.

In addition they must assist in driving revenue within current Achaean clients. Achaean sells services (custom graphic design, e-commerce shopping cart solutions, web database applications and content management) into a diverse set of the large, middle market, and internet start-up sector businesses.

AE?s must be comfortable developing relationships and selling at the highest levels (CEO, CIO, CFO), primarily to business decision makers. In order to succeed, AE?s must be comfortable with a long-term relationship/consultative sell and must have a broad knowledge of business to understand where Achaean can add value to our clients. AE?s are responsible for developing the accounts within and outside of their territories and to managing all opportunities to a close. We employ a team selling methodology with AE?s working in conjunction with technical resources to craft our proposed solutions and present them in a professional manor.

Amongst the AE?s responsibilities are locating opportunities, understanding the buying culture of the client, identifying the pain and building relationships with the key players at target organizations, and managing all selling activities to the close.

Qualified candidates should have enthusiasm, excellent organizational and communications skills, strong analytical skills, the confidence and ability to sell to the highest organizational levels via phone and in person.
